The Evolution of a Rock Band by Armando Gallo 1978. Sidgwick and Jackson Limited. ISBN 0 283 98440 6 (paper) or 0 283 98439 2 (cloth). 145 pages of band information and B&W pictures with a color photo section in the middle. The definitive Genesis story. Ironically, the author was extremely displeased with the result.

Also published in Germany with the fountain cover and over 150 pages. This very rare hardcover release has several different pictures inside and a different layout. ISBN 3-9800216-0-2.

I Know What I Like by Armando Gallo 1980. DIY Books ISBN 0283 987030. Came in softcover, hardcover, and leatherbound editions. Essentially a remake of his Evolution book with slightly different info and pictures and an Introduction by Mike Rutherford. Generally better quality production. Rereleased with a Paul Whitehead introduction in 1998.
