Foxtrot Variations


One of a kind Foxtrot reel from Apple Studios London, later shipped to B & C Records, NY dated August 9, 1972. Note the Neil Bogart name (signature?) at the top.
Pretty rare US stamped promo copy 1972 Charisma catalog number CAS 1058.

Israeli release on Phonodor 1972. The cover is basically the same as the regular release except for the pink Phonodor symbol on the back and included lyric sheet. Catalog number 13091.

German release on Charisma 1972. This is the the unique White Label Promo version. Catalog number 6369 922.
Release from Greece 1972 with a very muted colored cover. Charisma catalog number 6369 922. A similar release from Portugal has even less color.
A very rare Japanese release 1973. The cover is a composite of the two halves combined into one. Charisma catalog number RJ-5069 (the earliest of the Japanese RJ series).

Re-released from Japan (without the composite cover) in 1976 (RJ-7083), 1977 (RJ-7303), 1978 (BT-5161), 1983 (20-PP-73), & 1986 (25VB-1109).
Japanese release 1976 with OBI and insert. OBI is the same red style as the other 1975 Genesis releases and lists them on the back. Catalog number RJ-7083.

It is possible to use these catalog numbers to tell the approximate time of release, but they are actually price codes. RJ-5 was originally sold for 2,200 Yen, the RJ-7 was originally sold for 2,500 Yen, the 20- sold for 2,000 Yen, etc.
Argentina release on Philips 1976. The cover is basically the same as other releases but the cover is rather red and includes the tracks in Spanish on the back. Catalog number 6369 922.
Japanese release 1978 with OBI. Catalog number BT-5161.
Late Korean release on Virgin 1986. High quality cover with red lettering on the back. Also includes insert with story in Korean and lyrics in English. Catalog number YVPL 105.
Uruguay re-release 1987. Strange / washed out cover colors. Virgin catalog number 402 007 1.
Taiwan release on the Major label, catalog number MAJOR-014
Very late Venezuelan release on Virgin in the 1990s catalog number 1544. The cover is taken from the UK CD.
